30th November 2020
The LCR Pride Foundation has announced its decision to postpone Pride in Liverpool and reschedule to a date later in 2020. The event was due to take place on Saturday 25 July 2020.
As well as the main Pride in Liverpool festival, the postponement will affect the city region’s annual March with Pride and Pride Sundae programme of events. A new date will be revealed in the coming weeks.
“Knowing the importance of the annual Pride in Liverpool festival to so many people, suppliers and businesses, the decision to postpone the event has not been taken lightly.
“We remain committed to bringing Pride in Liverpool to the city region this year, at a time when we can play a part in bringing our communities back together and help to reboot the city’s economy.
Andi Herring, Co-Founder of LCR Pride Foundation
“We thank everyone for their patience and understanding in these challenging times and encourage everyone to stay home and stay safe.”
