National Pizza Day in Liverpool

National Pizza Day is this Sunday 9th February, and if we’re being honest, with the news of KFC and Pizza Hut teaming to create an epic pizza, we’ve all needed an excuse to try it.

But if that’s not your thing, LGSM have rounded up the best pizza spots in Liverpool in regard to taste, price and dietary alternatives.

A Smithdown staple has won over students with their woodfire cooked pizzas. The authenticity, taste and price have become the answer for a lazy dinner or the ultimate comfort food.

Their vegan menu is also quite extensive, so whether you’re trying to carry on with Veganuary or trying to make little changes to your eating habits, you can bet that pizza can still be part of your diet here.

There’s no better way to relax than having a pizza with the views of the Albert Dock.

The newest bombshell in pizza news is Pizza Hut ad KFC teaming up to create a pizza we didn’t know we needed.

The pizza comes with mozzarella cheese, KFC gravy, KFC popcorn chicken and sweetcorn.

The large pizza is £18.99 and thankfully students can get a 20% student discount, Sunday to Thursday with a valid Student ID.
