Festive Foodie Fun in Liverpool

The news that the Liverpool Christmas Market is cancelled is simply the cherry on top of the cake for the terrible 2020 that we have already endured.

And no, I am not being dramatic.

We flock to Christmas markets every year to enjoy as many bratwursts, nutella waffles and mulled wines as we possibly can consume before realising we have over done it. Yet again.

However, the festive period isn’t completely ruined. Christmas miracles do exist!

Live A Better Life (LABL) Christmas Mini Vegan Fair is coming to Liverpool to save the festive period (in socially distanced, corona safe style of course).

What is it?

LABL’s new outdoor Christmas event will feature over 10 stalls. This will include a selection of delicious hot and cold vegan foods (meat, dairy and egg free), handmade gifts, natural beauty products and so much more.

LABL run ethical and healthy living events. Stalls will be selling products from the best vegan, fair-trade, organic, ecological and cruelty-free companies.

There’s an all day bar (sold). Furthermore, there will be live entertainment from 12pm on wards provided by Fantasy Performers.

You pay at the entrance and the admission is only £1, perfect for us skint students looking to enjoy a great day out!

LABL’s Christmas Mini Vegan Fair will follow COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Where and when is it?

This outdoor Christmas event is taking place at Blackburn House, Blackburne Place, Liverpool, L8 7PE.

You can find this venue just off Hope Street (not far from campus).

The fair will be taking place for one day only on Saturday 5th December from 10am to 5pm.
