Can you sum up your campaign in under 10 words?

Affordable student life, inclusive spaces, advocating for justice and equality.

What made you decide to run for officer?

I know how hard it has become to live, study, and thrive as a student. As an active member of societies including the Islamic Society and LivPak Society, I’ve seen first-hand the financial, wellbeing, and inclusion challenges on students’ faces. I want to turn student voices into action by making everyday life more affordable, campus more inclusive, and the Guild a space where every student genuinely feels supported and heard. I will also stand firmly for justice for Palestine and take a clear position against Islamophobia, ensuring our campus remains a safe and respectful space for all.

How have you been involved with the Guild during your time at uni?

I’ve been a Guild volunteer for 2025/2026, working with Guild Sustainability and the Science and Sustainability in Schools programme. As part of Guild Sustainability, I volunteered at the Swap Shop, where students could donate clothes and take items in return. It was a simple but practical way to promote reuse, reduce waste, and make clothing more accessible for students. Through Science and Sustainability in Schools, I helped engage young students with science and environmental awareness. These experiences strengthened my commitment to sustainability and community support.

What’s your favourite spot in Liverpool?

Albert Dock is my favorite spot. It’s calm, scenic, and a great place to clear your mind after a busy week. I also like Bold Street for food options from different cultures, and the waterfront at sunset; it really makes Liverpool feel special.
